In 2015, Singapore celebrates her much-anticipated 50th year of independence, SG50. As the first global healthcare company to establish a presence in Singapore, GSK is excited to be part of the SG50 celebrations.
Our gift to Singapore
To mark SG50, GSK will contribute to Singapore with the gift of our time.
One of our major volunteer programmes, Orange Day, gives every employee one paid day off each year to volunteer for their chosen local community project, organisation or cause which they support.
This year, we are encouraging our Singapore-based employees to volunteer for events and projects organised by Community Chest, the fund-raising and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Services and a key part of the SG50 infrastructure.
Our goal is to volunteer as many hours as possible by having every Singapore-based employee of GSK utilise their Orange Day.
You can see how many hours we have clocked via the Time Tracker* on the top of this page.
