GSK partners with Thai Red Cross to aid flood victims
01 February 2017
As part of our "GSK Medicine Bank for Relief and Community Health" project started in Thailand, we partner with the local Red Cross to help local communities get access to basic necessities and healthcare in times of crisis.
Recently, the areas in Southern Thailand were affected by flooding which damaged many households and crop areas. Our volunteers assisted the Relief and Community Health Bureau in providing essential food supply and other necessities to these areas. Together with these organisations and the Thai Red Cross, we loaded dried food, rice, drinking water and other items on trucks for delivery to Southern Thailand to help flood victims.
GSK – one of the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare companies – is committed to improving the quality of human life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer. For further information please visit www.gsk.com/aboutus.
